AMIN ABDULKADIR-ETHIOPIAN TOURISM MINISTER ENVISAGE A LONG TERM COOPERATION WITH EUROPEAN TOURISM ORGANIZATION-ECTT

HE. Minister of Culture and Tourism of Ethiopia, Amin Abdulkadir and H.E. ECTT President, Professor Dr. Anton Caragea, discussed a long term agreement of support and cooperation envisaging: holding of conferences, exhibitions, promotion activities and decided to concentrate in electing in 2016 a World Capital of Culture and Tourism from Ethiopia, in order to create a two-three years long campaign for Ethiopia-the land chosen by God!


 

During the official visit of European Council on Tourism and Trade Delegation to Ethiopia, World Best Tourist Destination for 2015, the official meeting between HE. ECTT President- Professor Dr. Anton Caragea and HE. Minister of Culture and Tourism of Ethiopia-Amin Abdulkadir has taken place.

On 9th of July 2015, H. E. Minister Amin Abdulkadir has welcomed the European high ranking officials at their arrival on Ethiopian soil.

 

 


The minister express his country appreciation for European support, in electing Ethiopia as World Best Tourist Destination and Favourite Cultural Destination for 2015, a moment that will mark the full maturity of Ethiopian tourism industry.

 


European Council on Tourism and Trade President, Professor Dr. Anton Caragea, graciously acknowledged the warm welcoming and stated that: now Ethiopia has emerged as the most rapidly developing African country, one of the world top level economic powers and a symbol of African development.

 


I am pleased and honoured to be in Ethiopia-the Center of African tourism, concluded President Professor Dr. Anton Caragea.

On 14 July 2015, a new round of talks was held between the two tourism leaders at the end of European Council on Tourism and Trade top level delegation visit to Ethiopia-World Favourite Cultural Destination.


 

European Council on Tourism and Trade President remarked that Ethiopia had succeed in the world competition for World Best Tourist Destination for all the right reasons and is today a paradise for travellers, an oasis for culture and history seekers and a perfect luxury and discovery destination.

 


Minister of Culture and Tourism of Ethiopia -Amin Abdulkadir had presented his ambitious plans for fostering Ethiopia’s place on international tourism markets and presented his desire to continue the cooperation with European tourism body for years to come.

 


Among minister plans are: to obtain for a city in Ethiopia the designation of World Capital of Culture and Tourism, to start a step by step and state by state developing process of tourism in Ethiopia.

EUROPEAN COUNCIL ON TOURISM AND TRADE PRESIDENT ASK TO EVALUATE KAZAKHSTAN NATIONAL AND TOURISM DEVELOPMENT PLAN

Kazakhstan Ambassador meet with European Council on Tourism and Trade President(ECTT), Professor Dr. Anton Caragea for an official presentation of the 100 steps reform plan of Kazakhstan President.


The Ambassador outlined the significance and the importance of the message in a dialogue with ECTT President-Professor Dr. Anton Caragea and requested the academic analyses and an official point of view on the content of the document, that will be submitted for Kazakhstan people appreciation.

 


The document titled: 100 concrete steps set out by President Nursultan Nazarbayev to implement five institutional reforms is a concrete plan, proved the Kazakhstan President determination to carve out the creation of a developed state for all people of Kazakhstan.

This will be achieved by developing a professional civil service, ensuring rule of law, offering bases for industrialisation and economic growth and fostering national unity and identity by developing a patriotic act named Mangilik El (Eternal Nation).

 


After perusing the document,ECTT President-Professor Dr. Anton Caragea express his complete acquiescence to the program enunciated by H.E. Kazakhstan President-Nursultan Nazarbayev and highlighted the main features of what he called „a perfect program for a modern nation, a state belonging to XXI century”.

 


The academic staff of European Tourism Academy and European Council on Tourism and Trade, in agreement with other institutions and European academies, will start a process of complete and thoroughly examination and recommendations, so that the Five Institutional Reforms Program outlined by President Nursultan Nazarbayev to be recognized as a document of universal value and significance and to be offered as a template for development and national building across the world.

 


The program and documents, submitted by H.E. Kazakhstan Ambassador-Daulet Batrashev for Europe and world analysis, are reflecting the peerless manner in which President Nazarbayev is conducting the construction of an enlighten and modern state in Kazakhstan of today and his proposals can be considered as a document of world significance and authoritative development plan, concluded Professor Dr. Anton Caragea.


European Council on Tourism and Trade work will be connected with the implementation of the concept of development of the tourist industry by 2020 and establishment of regional tourist clusters: “Astana - the Heart of Eurasia”, “Almaty - Kazakhstan’s Free Cultural Zone”, “Unity of Nature and Nomadic Culture”, “The Pearl of Altai”, “Restoration of the Great Silk Road”, “the Caspian Gates”.


 

The meeting held between HE. Kazakhstan Ambassador-Daulet Batrashev and President-Professor Dr. Anton Caragea was the first official presentation of the Five Institutional Reforms Program of President Nursultan Nazarbayev to a world academic body.

 

 


The implementation of a number of technological projects is envisaged with European Council on Tourism and Trade expertise and support.


This include the creation of the large-scale internet project “Encyclopedia of Kazakhstan”, with European Tourism Academy high level competencies involved which will enable citizens and foreign tourists to discover more about the country. The portal will include 3D video tours of Kazakhstan, information on history and culture of the country, as well as interesting events.


The portal will act as Kazakhstan’s “business card”, as well as a national guide, a national wall of fame of citizens and a platform for online discussion on the model of European Journal of Tourism and Trade.

Increased regional cooperation, visa facilitation and the better promotion of European tourism are some of the topics, in focus, at the 8th Meeting of the European Tourism organization-European Council on Tourism and Trade, to be held in Bucharest, Romania, 25-26 June 2015.

Europe is the world’s most visited region and is the main source of outbound tourism to other destination, accounting for more than half of the world’s international travelers.

 


In 2014, international tourism in Europe had registered a major contribution to the economic recovery in the region: international tourist arrivals grew by 3% to reach a record 584 million, while international tourism receipts increased by 4% contributing US$ 509 billion (383 billion euro) to the European economies.

 


The 8th Meeting of the European Council on Tourism and Trade will be held at the Romanian Parliament and Professor Dr. Anton Caragea-President of European Council on Tourism and Trade will play host to representatives from 30 European countries and other tourism stakeholders in the region to discuss policy priorities and set the agenda for ECTT in the world in 2015-2016.

SILK ROAD project is getting a major supporter in the presence of Professor Dr. Anton Caragea-European Council on Tourism and Trade President and his delegation in a tour around the ancient road of civilization and trade.

 

The discovery tour and familiarization trip by European Council on Tourism and Trade high level delegation will concentrate on the SILK ROAD in XXI century on the territory of Kazakhstan.



The European Council on Tourism and Trade visit will start on Almaty-the father of apples city


 

The familiarization trip of European Council on Tourism and Trade will start on the Mountain of Tien Shian slopes where Almaty, former capital of Kazakhstan is bidding for hosting the Olympics Games.

 

Almaty can become the starting point of a shorter version of Silk Road offering a venue for visiting Taraz, a cultural center connected with Central Asian folklore and the legend of Aisha Bibi and perfect equipped center for visits to the natural reserves of the area: Zhungar gates, Taskarkum, Ili delta, Balkhash, lltyn Emel National Park, Koksu Valley and Khan Tengri.

Amongst Central Asian nations Turkmenistan is making headway with Ashgabad becoming the first ever city recognized as WORLD CAPITAL OF CULTURE AND TOURISM and President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov named as Academician of European Tourism Academy and recognized as a World Leader in Tourism (2011).

 


With European Council on Tourism and Trade support and promotion Turkmenistan registered more than 1 million tourist`s per year.

 



ECTT President and Minister of Economy of Turkmenistan are holding regular consultation. 


Turkmenistan is also receiving on yearly basis since 2010 an European Council on Tourism and Trade delegation for a familiarization trip.

The tourism and cultural relations between Europe and Turkmenistan had entered into a new phase with the presence of the 5th European Council on Tourism and Trade (ECTT) delegation in Turkmenistan.

During the latest five cultural delegation` s European Council on Tourism and Trade has contributed with ideas and information’s to important tourism, cultural and academic events held in Turkmenistan under the President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov supervision such as: Oguznama International Conference , Ethnography Congress of Turkmenistan , International Congress of the 15 Anniversary of Turkmenistan Neutrality , Turkmenistan in the Epoch of New Revival and finally the International Congress dedicated to life and work of world renamed Turkmen poet: Nurmuhammet Andalip.


 

Professor Dr. Anton Caragea and European Council on Tourism and Trade delegation visited the world heritage UNESCO site of Kunya-Urgench where they participated at the festivity dedicated to the great Turkmen poet Nurmuhammet Andalip works and visited the world renowned monuments of Sultan Tekesh, Sultan Ahmad and famous Sufi philosopher Nedjmedin Kubra.

The European Council on Tourism and Trade delegation was received by Turkmen Parliament Presidency and hold talks at Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Economy of Turkmenistan.

 

The parties had agreed on intensifying the bilateral relation, the tourism relation`s between Turkmenistan and European Council on Tourism and Trade being considered as excellent and was emphasized the need to foster economical cooperation dimension on bilateral relations.

 


During the dialogue with Turkmen authorities H.E. Professor Dr. Anton Caragea, President of European Council on Tourism and Trade was presented with the framework of State Committee for Tourism of Turkmenistan, who was established in 2012 and to the significance of the Committee for the Awaza National Tourist Zone.

 


 


Awaza tourist facilities created with European vision and Turkmenistan desire to become a touristic hot spot 


During next year (2016) visit to Turkmenistan H.E. Professor Dr. Anton Caragea, President of European Council on Tourism and Trade promised that the familiarization trip will concentrate on Awaza tourist potential and will direct an awareness campaign for this region.

2015 IS THE YEAR OF SPARKLING WINE SAY`S WINE EXPERT`S AT INTERNATIONAL WINE AND TOURISM FAIR

During two days (20-22 March 2015), European Council on Tourism and Trade had become the capital center of sparkling wine makers and sparkling wine lovers in search of the best sparkling wines that Europe and the world can offer.


 

Good Wine March 2015 edition, had offered for a delegation of wine experts, parliamentarians and diplomats from European Council on Tourism and Trade the opportunity to taste and appreciate the European sparkling wines on display and to carve up a top of Best European Sparkling Wines of 2015.

European Sparkling Wine Top put the sparkling wines of France, known as champagne, only on 4th position.

 


Concluding the wine tasting session, at Good Wine March 2015, the diplomats, lead by Professor Dr. Anton Caragea, President of European Council on Tourism and Trade put on their favorite list the sparkling wines: MUSCAT OTTONEL (first place), on the second place stood the sparkling wine combination of Muscat Ottonel and Royal Girl (Feteasca regala) and finally the new comer in the competition: Babeasca Sparkling Wine (Old Lady) from Casa Panciu (third place).


 

The diplomats involved in the tasting had encouraged the European sparkling wine producers to increase the wine quality by producing more sweet and semi-sweet sparkling wines, the perfect combination that already conquered the European markets for a consistent export and presence of European wines on international markets.

EUROPEAN DIPLOMATIC WINE IN 2015 IS REPRESENTING EUROPE`S WINE INDUSTRY

European Council on Tourism and Trade is dedicated to support and promote the European traditions and to popularize the European products and craftsmanship across the world.

 

European wines are a symbol of european long history and tradition and as such an integral part of the mission of European Council on Tourism and Trade promotion activities. 


In order to promote and protect the winemaking legacy of Europe, two times a year, ECTT is organizing an International Wine and Tourism Fair. 


The first of this year events was held beginning with 21 March 2015 at the Romexpo Hall in Bucharest. 


On this occasion, Professor Dr. Anton Caragea-President of European Council on Tourism and Trade, accompanied by a delegation of parliamentarians and diplomats had opened the Venue and visited the stand of CASA DE VINURI COTNARI (COTNARI HOUSE OF WINE) the creator of EUROPEAN DIPLOMATIC WINE for 2015.

COTNARI HOUSE OF WINE had presented, on the opening of International Wine Fair GoodWine, a selection of the best wines of 2015: the BUSUIOACA DE BOHOTIN (Bohotin Basilicum)-COLLOQUIUM IN PARIS wine, who conquered the public with his pungent aroma, fine pearled image and the apple and fruity dominated taste a wine nearing perfection and marked with 98 points out of 100 for the flowery flavor.


 

The wine presentation continued with another star of COTNARI-DIPLOMATIC WINE: the Rose Wine from Dominium (Domenii) series of COTNARI HOUSE OF WINE and the Black Girly (Feteasca Neagra) from Dominium, launched in the spring of 2014.

 


Was presented also a wine preferred by European tasters: the special Fat Lady of Cotnari (Grasa de Cotnari) a wine that conquered all hearts by his long-lasting aroma, fine taste and technological mastery.

The BUSUIOACA DE BOHOTIN (Bohotin Basilicum)-by COTNARI HOUSE OF WINE was undoubtedly the Queen of the festivity.

European Council on Tourism and Trade (ECTT) President offered his high patronage to the Wine and Tourism International Fair-GOODWINE and on 6 December 2014, His Excellency ECTT President- Dr.Anton Caragea opened the official ceremony to present to the public the BEST EUROPEAN WINE FOR 2015 and to uncover the names of the BEST WINEMAKERS OF THE YEAR.




Appealing to wineries, wine & tourism association, wine destination marketing organizers, media and wine tour operators, the annual Wine Tourism Conference provides hard information abou the important and growing industry of wine tourism and provides a forum for leaders in the wine tourism industry. Wine tour operators represent a significant number of WTC-GOODWINE attendees.

 


The ceremony is instrumental for HORECA and tourism industry representatives in keeping in touch with the news and the best wine producers from Europe in order to present this product`s for trade, for tourism events and for leisure and for the full comfort of the clients.

Afterwards was tasted the second place on diplomatic wine competition, the famous Fat Lady of Cotnari (Grasa de Cotnari), dry wine, a historical achievement.

 


The Grasa de Cotnari wine is an old traditional wine, in use at the Moldavian king’s court.

On 6 December 2014, on the ceremony to present the Best European Wines and on the venue for unveiling the DIPLOMATIC WINE for 2015, Mr. Victor Deleanu-Chairman of the COTNARI-House of Wines, the author of the European wine`s ilk’s revolution, received in a festive ambiance the title for BEST WINEMAKER OF THE YEAR.

The DIPLOMATIC WINE will represent during 2015 the European wine tradition and high quality.

 


We can already note that: the ceremony had become a focal point in diplomatic life, a moment awaited with pleasure and interest by diplomatic community, as the tasting committee is enjoying the best products of European wine industry.

 


Respecting the yearly tradition, the committee has encompassed two diplomats from every continent that us usually importing wine products (Europe, Asia, Africa, America).

After the tasting session, the final selection, based on the evaluation of wine types, had comprised on the III-rd place: Feteasca Alba (White Girly) and Feteasca Neagra (Black Girly).

 


On the second place, the commission had appreciated the aroma and taste of the unique Grasa de Cotnari and finally the first place was given to the aromatic wines from Tămâioasă Românească and Busuioacă de Bohotin assortments.

 


The final phase of the competition had decided the winners as being on the III-rd place, the only red wine from COTNARI HOUSE OF WINES production was selected the dry Feteasca Neagra (Black Girl) from Dominium Cotnari.

 





The second place goes to the Grasa de Cotnari, special creation of COTNARI-HOUSE OF WINES, Colloquium Collection.

 


On the second place, the jury had appreciated the extreme aroma and complexity of the unique Grasa de Cotnari, dry made and finally the first place-DIPLOMATIC WINE has gone to the rosy, profusely aroma and the round and perfect taste of the Busuioaca de Bohotin-Colloquium in Paris.


 

Senator Ionel Agrigoroaei, prominent member of the European Council on Tourism and Trade, present on the rostrum of the ceremony, had stated that for him, as a Senator from Iasi county, he is extremely touched and proud that Moldavian wines, the Cotnari wines, where highly appreciated and noted by diplomats and is appreciative that, from today, the COTNARI HOUSE OF WINES products will be tasted in the entire world.

 




And the winner is… the special formula accompanied the announcement, the EUROPEAN IPLOMATIC WINE FOR 2015 is Busuioaca de Bohotin-Colloquium in Paris.
